My Crystal Archive prints are the meeting of two worlds. First my 35mm transparency film is scanned by a Tango Drum Scanner to a 300 megabyte file. Then in the digital darkroom, we fine tune the image to replicate the original transparency. This is done by using simple adjustments to correct color, curves, and balance. I do not add color to the image that is not in the original. The key is to start with a great image and scan. The file is then moved to the Chromira L.E.D. light printer where it is brought back into the photographic world by printing it on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper and processed normally. Fuji Crystal archive prints will not fade so that you can enjoy them for many years where ever you decide to display them.
My prints are signed limited editions created by master digital printers Bill Nordstrom & Erik Peterson of LaserLight Printmakers, Aptos, CA.
